I used my pail for the dog that liked to play in water, worked great but he wasn't slopping water from his mouth. Attaching it to the wall took all the fun out of playing with it.
I've always seen a no spill bowl suggested for sloppy drinkers. On the order of this thing but you'd want something larger and deeper. You'd still have to put it on something like a boot tray lined with fabric to catch drips.
Those with smaller dogs often use water drippers similar to the ones used for small mammals. Perhaps you could screw the working end to a much larger bottle. The 400 ml bottle on the linked one is definitely not suitable for your big girl!
Or install a dog door and keep water outside......
