I've gotten compliments for my "minimalist" and "modernist" cube space. I keep it clean and modern, which is what I like anyway, but in particular for work I find it calming. The main items are this desk lamp and this floor lamp for general lighting. I have a couple of pieces of abstract art- one is a nifty cube my daughter made with geometric designs.

This might seem odd, but one of the things that's most helped me in my coin enjoyment is a nice desk lamp I got from my GF's parents. This is the one and costs a little less than $50. It has a really heavy base, maybe 6-7 lbs, touch on/off and light setting buttons, a usb port to charge a phone on or whatever, and looks pretty sharp! I really like it for checking out coins under magnification because my room is so poorly lit. I mostly like to check out the change I get to look for errors, I don't have much for valuable coins. Really helpful for homework too.

It's a lamp. I mostly use it when I'm cleaning the scanner and negatives. It's extremely bright which makes it easy to see all the dust or smudges.

Ahhh, yeah, somehow I. glossed over "behind the screen" and thought he was talking about LEDs inside the tower.

And yeah, I have a cheap LED lamp I got off Amazon that I have set behind my screen for some back lighting. Works pretty well and has multiple brightnesses and temperatures (aka blue balance) for different times of day.

Still though, the others were def talking about regular ceiling room lighting.

The phone holder is just wireless charger.

The ipad holder is from Anker, but I don't believe they make it anymore. This is the closest thing to it that I could find.

I got it as a gift it's very cool. it has a timer and 3 dimming options too

put monitors on one side, tower on the other. Or put the monitors on one side, tower in the middle, and controllers/headset/mic/etc. on the other side. I'm using these to hold power strips, it's only going to work for the long skinny ones though. IKEA has one that can hold a wider variety of sizes. Based on the shadow and graininess of the pic I am guessing you only have a ceiling light? You could add a lamp on one side and one of these on the other. If you want to continue with the green color scheme, you could get one of these orb things and an rgb led strip

I used one of these for a while and just upgraded to one of these. The first one is pretty good for just painting, the second one is great for painting and a pretty good all-around desk lamp.

This is the one I have.

I don't have a desk, I just do all of my colouring at the kitchen table, but the lighting situation in our house is GRIM. I love that I can swivel this one any number of ways so that the light best hits the paper, and it's a bonus that I can use it to charge my phone since I usually listen to audiobooks while I'm colouring.

Just to be clear, something like this. Maybe with leds in the base too, that can do a rainbow wave and custom combos. A single bulb is pretty lame.
