Approximately a 15 deg (C) drop on both . Plus I added these to the bottom and have seen the fans don't have to work as hard for hot air to get out.

While I have the prior gen laptop with the 8750h and GTX 1060 I was playing with temps tonight. I undervolted mine by bringing the core voltage offset down to -0.150V (keep in mind I have a different CPU). That brought it down from the low 90's to the low 80's. Then I propped up the back of the laptop with a Nintendo Switch game case to raise the back end of the laptop up maybe a half of an inch. This brought me down me down into the high 60's to low 70's. Try giving that a shot, just put something under the back of your laptop (without obstructing the intake fans) and see if that helps. It wasn't a huge surprise. I had an Alienware back around 2011 and I used this trick to lower the temps there as well. I'm actually considering something like the following to be a more permanent solution. https://www.amazon.com/Cooling-Improves-Performance-workstations-Alienware/dp/B07772JBX1/ref=sxin_1_ac_d_rm?ac_md=1-1-bGFwdG9wIGNvb2xpbmcgZmVldA%3D%3D-ac_d_rm&keywords=laptop+feet&pd_rd_i=B07772JBX1&pd_rd_r=c8137171-992f-42ee-ab69-54a973ce5bcc&pd_rd_w=bd6M9&pd_rd_wg=dgzX3&pf_rd_p=404c4843-2c96-4d0d-a5fe-2b0598693e61&pf_rd_r=0PQG2D7QHQ62X93GX6XX&qid=1567419378&s=gateway

Finding that exact one might be a little difficult seeing that no retailer sells many replacement parts for that laptop. If you aren't looking for those ones specifically, either this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BZ4TYM/ or this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07772JBX1/ might interest you.

Foldable laptop feet are really amazing.

As others have said, this seems like a GPU throttling issue. If it is GPU throttling, check if it is indeed temperature related or is it power.
