I don’t think you realize just how big a question the “astral mechanics” portion of your question really is!

My recommendation: download this book from Amazon. It’s the best nuts and bolts how to book I’ve ever read.

If you like old fashioned books made of the corpses of dead trees, you can find it even cheaper.

I’m not sure “friends” is the right word. I have made allies on the astral planes, but we don’t go to Astral nightclubs or out drinking!

I’m married with a daughter, but I’m a loner by nature. I think that’s why I enjoy projecting into the future, deep space, and especially the far future. You have to be someone who can psychologically handle be completely and utterly alone. So, I don’t tend to make friends wherever I go like some people - my wife for example.

Hi there!

This book was instrumental for me: Leaving the Body (https://www.amazon.com/Leaving-Body-D-Scott-Rogo-ebook/dp/B00316UNCU/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=leaving+the+body&qid=1571503214&sr=8-1).

It gives step-by-step instructions and prepares you for pretty much all eventualities.

I even took a weekend workshop about astral projection and all that I learned/read in this book were spoken of in the course. The only thing I did not prepare for was the *fear* of actually leaving my body consciously. For me, there was total separation anxiety! :-)

During the workshop I was about to leave my body and slide out (the floor literally opened and I saw darkness and twinkling lights in the opening) and I was like NOPE!!! and stopped myself. Prepare for any fears you might have beforehand - do some shadow work to confront your fears before you do your first attempt. That would be my advice to you.

May your ancestors always guide your steps!

Blessed be.
