"Overpriced toy" is fairly subjective. A LEGO house set costs 20 bucks.
Not really your job to say whether or not they're overpriced, and seeing how much they've sold, I'm willing to bet the general public disagrees.
Smash's is just a better CPU, Mario Party's is decently substantial, but BotW's is mostly just cosmetics with cool abilities sometimes. Amiibo items don't make you better at the game, nor do they help you take on Ganon.
Again, fairly subjective.
Nintendo aren't going to stop anytime soon, as long as people see them as worthwhile.
