If you don't NEED it to be a single device you can do 2x Lenovo IX4-300D's. I have one and its great. NFS, iSCSI, FTP, CIFS, dual 1Gbit links, email alerting. Mine has a 120mm fan in it thats barely audible.

If you are looking for a NAS enclosure, I would recommend http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-IX4-300D-Diskless-Network-70B89003NA/dp/B00DW1VJVI. Add WD Reds, and you have yourself a NAS for around 500 bucks.

so I just picked up a lenovoemc nas for like 200-ish. It's nothing fancy, a few annoying quirks, but it's a 4 bay nas enclosure, so you could do raid 10, have a crapload of space to backup + store your movies/vids.

This is what I got

Just an fyi though, I'd probably go for all 4 drives at once and set it up that way instead of 2. Being cheaper, there are limitations, like not being able to setup 2 drive pools (f'n annoying). I made the mistake of doing 2 4tb drives in it, luckily I have 2 tb sitting there, so when I go to add 2 more 4tb drives I can backup my data before switching it to raid 10.

If you do go that route hit me up if you have questions with that model.
