The iron sights work fine as well, for sure. I bought the Leupold FX-II Scout 2.5x28 scope. It's a little spendy but it's crystal clear and the reticle is perfectly centered, nice and sharp. You can do a bit better on the price if you shop around, I think.
There's also a Burris 2.75x20 scout scope that I've seen good reviews on. It's a little less expensive, but with a smaller objective lens so it lets in less light.
