I am willing to bet that the slightly faster speed makes very little practical difference in the real world. Focus on good technique, frequency, and duration, angling the brush into the gumline. Getting a brush that guides you through a full two minutes of brushing may help with changing your habits, so a fancier model with a timer might be advisable. For nearly a year I've used this toothbrush and I am very impressed. My tooh brushing has improve rather much and according to my dentist, my mouth is in general a lot healthier than before.
It has a nice system, it has a counter and signals where and when you have to brush specific areas of your mouth.

Yeah, they worked great for me. You just have to make sure you are consistant with them. Also, I wouldn't use more than a kit or two because they will end up removing the enamel from your teeth.
