Lightspeed makes a non-PVC air mattress that is durable for camping purposes. I have the double, and have been pretty pleased with it. I saw a twin size one of it at Costco when I bought my double, but it doesn't appear to be listed on their site anymore. They've got a 3" thick sleeping pad too that might work if a double doesn't fit in your tent or wherever

I bought mine based on the reviews, I had it inflated in my guest bedroom for 3 months and it never lost ANY air, I have only had it out camping a couple times but it seems really durable compared to the crap coleman ones that I have had 3 of.
