The Lilly brush has replaced sticky rollers for me. I use the larger version around the house and keep the smaller one in my purse in case I need to de-fur.
I play/interact with my cats early in the morning while I fix my hair and makeup, then just before I have to leave I throw on what I need to wear. When I get home I immediately change into lounge wear/pajamas.
It also helps to get into the habit of putting all your laundry away. Either hanging up in a closet or folded away in a drawers. If there's a pile of clothes somewhere, cats will find it, and they will want to knead and cuddle and shed all over it.
