Using /u/TheodoreFunkenstein 's gif, and some background knowledge, I found the toy car. 29.5" in length, equaling around 34 pixels in the gif. He travels around 846 pixels until he catches up with the car, meaning 734 inches (61 feet). It took him about 3.6 seconds to reach this same location. He was going around 17ft/s or 11.6 miles per hour. Not terribly fast, but I based the timing off when he was last seen standing in the frame to when he caught up with the car. If he paused for one second before running, he would have been going 23ft/s or 15mph. This range is around the sprinting speed of an average person. Of course, he could have waited even longer, but it is impossible to tell with this gif.

Why in the hell are you spending TWO GRAND on a car?!? I am smart and financially responsible so I got this:

This is more than enough car to get me to and from my 2 million dollar a year job. Plus there is enough room in the back for my weekly bag of lentils. There is no need to waste money on such a frivolous purchase. Sure a 1998 Toyota Corolla with 300,000 miles on it will get you to work, but at what cost? Use your brain or you will never FIRE. Stupid poor.

I honestly thought it was this. I guess it's just painted up to look like one of those.

Fucking LOL. Or the front-loading ergobabies.

They toddle behind the horses on the [Little Tikes car](http://www.Little.com/ Tikes Cozy Coupe 30th Anniversary Car https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B001NQHN7S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_uhAVCbBQ392PV)

You're justifying having an SUV (so do I, not really uncommon) as reasoning for hogging two lanes. I drive a 70 foot long combination vehicle, and I manage to keep between the lines.

If you struggle, might I suggest something a bit easier to handle?

it was so hard not to over buy for my toddler now that she understands christmas and actually has a wish list. we ending up buying 2 barbie type dolls, a puzzle, a tool set, a stuffed animal, hat and gloves set, and a cozie coupe (her 1 big present). in her stocking, she got a small book, some play chapstick, and some head bands. it seemed so small and modest until she got presents from both sets of grandparents and aunts and uncles. i'm so glad we didn't buy more. they can only play with one thing at a time anyway and i'm pretty sure the chapstick is one of her favorite gifts...

as she gets older, i want christmas to be about spending time together, not how many presents she gets to open. so i think we'll stick with getting her a handful of things each year. but i want to focus on the experiences like going to look at christmas lights, making hot chocolate, decorating cookies, watching christmas movies and reading christmas books, etc.

I apparently make an awesome salsa pork chop. which is funny because all it is, is a porkchop with salsa on top (cooked in salsa) :D my niece and nephew both got new bikes a few years ago for christmas. I made them their own "parking spots" out of square concrete stepping stones. Dora and Mickey were the themes. also that year my nephew for his birthday got a one of these minus the eyes I gave it an updated look. I spray painted it black and on the top i hand painted a mickey mouse on the roof. He LOVED it. I was kinda super proud of myself. :P but like a moron, I didnt get a picture :(

Well shipping or being able to buy local where they are and have it shipped might be a consideration. I've bought my nieces a couple of different stages of walkers/bouncers, you'd have to check on the age it's intended for, but kids start walking around the 1 year mark, bouncers will generally help the leg muscles develop and walkers will help them walk steadily. If you look up 'walker-bouncer combo' you might get lucky and find a good one that converts when the child is ready. They also make some ride-on toys where the kids just push themselves. One of their favorites has been the "Cozy Coupe."

If size is a major consideration, I'd check out STEM toys for kids, you can usually find them by age range. Another possibility , since they're abroad - maybe some educational baby videos in the local language, if that's applicable, or a language the parents would want the baby to learn, something along those lines.

>Appropriate response would be..."get out of your car dad's cozy coupe and say that to me"?

FIFY.

A little play house, trike or big wheel, wagon, dress ups, Legos, finger paints, or a Cozy Coupe

I hate to be the guy that calls bullshit, but a brand new cozy coupe would have eyes.
