Do you have access to wilderness areas? If so, I'd consider finding somewhere quiet and setting up a small, inocuous altar there. Nothing that would scare the natives - maybe just a log with a flat top surface and a bag of stuff hidden nearby which you can take out and put up there. Or even just somewhere you can sit and meditate in beautiful surroundings. Even if you only get to go there very occasionally you could close your eyes and think of it every time you are in need of the Goddess's love or the God's strength.

I do physical journaling just because it's more satisfying to write in and I can also draw in it at the same time. Online journaling/digital just doesn't give me as much joy. I would highly recommend getting a journal with a built in lock, such as this one , and there's a bunch of other types on amazon as well, and maybe other sites. This way you can still write physically without worrying about privacy.
