I'd hazard a guess that /u/dragontology probably has a Trackman Wheel (which is a bit of a precursor to the current M570) and just refers to it as a "Trackman". Either that, or /u/dragontology was sold an M570 and told that it's called a Trackman, because the M570 really fits the description that they have given.
i have a Logitech Cordless TrackMan Wheel that i have used for years, flawlessly, and just recently had to replace an older logitech key board with a Cordless Desktop® EX 110.
the transmitter went out on the old keyboard. i use the mouse that came with the new keyboard with my laptop. the new keyboard linked up with the old receiver flawlessly and the only problem i had was when i hooked up the new receiver to my laptop, it sometimes picked-up signals from the new keyboard, i just did some repositioning of the new receiver and everything is hunkey-dory now.
...as for belkin?...i dunno, long time since i used anything belkin, but when i did...no problems there, either.
