Amazon brand stuff gets a much wider definition of what is comparable. I've been keeping track of the price of this gaming mouse and the Amazon brand mouse that is recommended is not even close. It's basically the same deal - nobody in the market for one of the most expensive wireless gaming mice on the market is instead buying a cheap off brand wired mouse.

What are you talking about?

Just an example,
G Pro Wireless: 240 CAD, 150 USD.

240 CAD in USD: $185. It's cheaper in the US.

Literally everything is like this.

This is the wrong take, OP didn't ask for best bang for the buck PC, he asked for the best PC.

Cooler: Air is usually cooler and quieter than AIOs, in your machine you want the noctua nh-d15 though.

Your memory is not the best it can be for Ryzen (you want 3200c14 or 3600c16). Remember you have 4 DIMM slots, you can go 4x8 if you want, but I don't think they are cheaper than the 2x16 kits.

3600c16

or

3200c14

I personally have the latter one, Samsung b-die for good overclocking potential.

Storage: Don't put mechanical in this build for the love of god. Your "boot drive" is fine w/ the 860 evo, consider the m.2 version for slight (and I mean slight) performance gains and less wires:

also consider it's bigger brother the 970 Evo

For your "data drive", get a 2tb mx500, If you buy a mechanical drive for this build you will be banned :).

The video card situation is a weird one right now. nVidia keeps the good bins of their cards and sells the rest to AIBs. If you want the best 2080ti, you want the founders edition

But nVidia has probably the worst customer service, and 3rd party cards offer better cooling. It's a decision that's up to you. I personally went with a Founders Edition card for my build (2080 Super though).

Get an 80+ platinum power supply

This is a hot take, but consider a wireless mouse. The offerings today have no lag and gaming without cable drag is fantastic. Some suggestions:

I was in this same dilemma until the reviews came out.

That 4.something score at least assures you that RMA hell is unlikely, that issue with the buttons touching is huge, I really wouldn't want to buy that with or without a revision honestly, I don't really like that design choice, and the G305 is essentially the same mouse but cheaper, you can even get down to almost the same weight using lithium batteries, and also note that the G305 is extremely efficient, you may think you don't care but this is quality of life, it can go on for months, you could offer me a powerplay mat for free that I wouldn't want it because it just doesn't matter on this mouse.

And I found that the shape is indeed a bit too small and it does fatigue me a tiny bit, but to me it is very tolerable, this shape is actually mostly fine to me since I have a fingertip grip, and I am already used to gripping anything really, this just isn't the most comfortable mouse I have ever used, but I didn't rank comfort as a priority when I bought it, I just wanted a reliable light mouse.

Logitech G305

Logitech GPro Wireless

I've owned both of these and they are both VERY good mice. Logitech G305 is smaller, requires a AA battery, and is significantly cheaper. GPro Wireless (my current mouse) is larger, rechargeable, but is more expensive.

I've hit GM using both of them. I play Rein, Widow, Ana, Orisa, a wide variety of heroes, and haven't noticed any input lag. I would highly suggest the G305 since it's a lot cheaper but still gives you the same performance as the GPro Wireless.

The battery life for the GPro Wireless is REALLY long, and the charge time is very low. I've gone 2 weeks, playing every day for a few hours, without recharging it because I just simply forgot. Plugged it in, took a shower, came back out and it was almost fully charged.

The Logitech G Pro Wired is, well, wired. It is based off the same design as the G305, which is the wireless version.

The Logitech G Pro also comes with the latest HERO sensor of 16k DPI. This model is called theLogitech G Pro HERO.

The Logitech G Pro Wireless is a special esports gaming mouse that is wireless and uses the same HERO sensor. However, it has a completely different shape.

TL;DR: It is wired.

Don't listen to this advice..no insane gamer will use a fucking 12 button MMO mouse...actually the dumbest thing i've heard in a while. Don't start with 1400 dpi either...try 800 or 400. Most pros and good players play 400 or 800. Plus those mice are biggger...you want something that feels good on ur hand. G Pro , Finalmouse , just a few examples. You have a keyboard for binds....you don't need a mouse for that.

Logitech G Pro Wireless
The best gaming mouse.Period. A little over budget, I know but worth every single dollar. This mouse will last you for 5 years if maintained properly.

PS: If you use Honey you might get a discount.

Edit: Forgot to add something under your budget so.... Here you go, Razer Viper

Use the remaining budget for a mouse bungee.

Ok, you should try wireless, it's amazing. Here is a list of my top pics.

GPRO Wireless: Literally the best gaming mouse I've ever used, I have nothing bad to say about it. It is perfect and should be cherished.

G502 Lightspeed: Most similar on this list to the mamba in terms of size and weight, has a ton of buttons. There is a G502 hero which is a wired version and is currently the best selling mouse on the market. Really good.

G305: Smaller than its big brother the GPRO Wireless, but still hugely popular and well respected, No rechargeable battery in the box however, it used a AA battery. Battery life is like 200+ hours tho.

Mamba wireless: If you really like your mamba, here is a good option for wireless. I havent used it but it seems pretty popular for razer fans.

almost all these mice have wired version that are identical/lighter exceptt the GPRO wireless. If you don't want to spend so much you could look into those. Happy clicking!

Hey, yeah, thanks for asking. A lot of people on this sub don't know anything about mice apparently (due to my downvotes).

  • This mouse fucking weighs 121 grams (which is crazy fucking heavy)
  • You probably want a mouse in the range of 60-90 if you actually want to play competitive shooters (or if you don't want your hand to hurt)
  • The mouse design is a relatively safe shape, you can definitely find mice on the market that will fit your hand better.
  • If you are actually looking for a good competitive fps mouse that is wireless, buy the Logitech G Pro Wireless for the same price. It fucking weighs 81.9 grams compared to this fucking metal tank.
  • Otherwise, if your in the market for a casual browsing wireless mouse, go with the G903 lightspeed.

Anyways, there are plenty of mice on the market now that have top tier sensors with amazing shapes and low weight... here's a few...

  • Zowie FK

  • G305

  • XM1

  • Razer Viper

  • G-Wolves Skoll

I would highly suggest to not listen to anyone on this subreddit. Find a mouse that suits your mouse grip. Don't buy random garbage posted because it looks like a good deal.
