Oh man, I'd absolutely LOVE to see Zeos shitting on Razer and Steelseries.

You should also add the new Logitech headsets, the G633 and some wireless counterpart which I don't care for. They seem promising. (linked is the wired variant)

www.amazon.com/Logitech%C2%A0G633-Artemis-Spectrum-Surround-981-000586/dp/B013P0K8OE

According to LinusTechTips, the model at Logitech's factory was tested alongside the Sennie HD650, although they couldn't get any impressions out worth noting cause "muh open vs closed back".

High side of your budget but I LOVE my g633 headphones so much I went and bought them again but spent more for wireless

The G633's go for 105 new on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Artemis-Spectrum-Surround-Headset/dp/B013P0K8OE

just yesterday they were going new for $75 dollars new. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/jFGj4D/logitech-headphones-981000586 (check price history graph)

$100 for used (even if lightly) is ridiculous. would you do $40?

u/The_Phazed · 2 pointsr/buildapcsales

About that G633 Headset for $50....

Edit: Just realized you said G933 instead of G633, still a good deal though!

I've made some adjustments to the previous commenters list to weight in the experience I've had with ryzen and memory.

Motherboard does support the ram on the QVL so no issues there. 3200mhz worth of 16gbs are great for any game out there.

Power supply was iffy on quality. I trust corsair with making anything work but I've only had bad experiences with the power supplies that they make. Just my preference to use EVGA since I have had mine for a year changing between 4 different builds without making a peep.

Storage is my personal preference since i've worked with Kingston and PNY but speed and quality wise overtime has always gone to Samsung for SSD's. The Evo line and Pro line SSD has been the top of the class in the gaming world. Western digital does make good drives but for ten bucks more you can go from 5400rpm WD to 7200rpm Seagate.

Cpu is a nice one and I've had it before but I changed it for the 1700 due to gaming experience and the LED cooler it comes with. Some people would complain about frequency but it has performed well for me at 4ghz so that is irrelevant. This 8-core is just to future proof since most games demand higher cores and threads. 8 cores and 16 threads is excellent.

Monitors are good to look at from the store page but in person it's much different. I've bought freesync monitors and G sync and I've actually bought the G2460PF twice due to it's great quality. 144hz with display port support (which you need for 120^fps) and a 1080p display is great. The only difference between my suggestion and the commenters suggestion is price, G-sync versus freesync and 1440p. The problem with G-sync at any resolution is the actual cost and performance in which Linus statesG-sync is either at the same or worse than Freesync. (Feel free to watch the video)

Headsets are hard to discuss in this thread since some like older models and others stick to the company they trust and in my case it's corsair. I looked for a cheap and high quality headset and for the first time the Corsair void was the first that hit that requirement better than I expected. I've had other headsets such as logitech and razer and I can tell you that you won't be disappointed with this set.I've actually had my gf wear them and trip over a cord onto the ground and still had them on. On ear controls, 7.1 surround sound, RGB settings, Equalizer quick switching button(so switch from listening to mega bass music to FPS competitive in a single press) and a red mute light at the tip of the mic when you turn it on. Same price, better quality. Plus the headset you listed is Stereo, not 7.1 like most high end headsets. Only thing equal to it logitech-wise is probably the G633 Artemis but visually they don't seem appealing since the ones I own have everything built into the headset as clean as possible. Check release dates for products btw.

My suggestion is an all around cost built solely to be future proof. You could even get a 27 inch monitor and be in your budget and having a 1080 in your built is exponentially prepared for the worst in any gaming situation.

u/dalbukerke feel free to comment on my suggestion.

I was going to buy those when they dropped to $60 at Best Buy but I did some research and ended up buying a pair of Logitech G933 Artemis wireless last night. Retail price is $200, but they had them for $136 last night and I looked just now and they're $100 for wireless and $75 for wired. Several different sites said they were the best overall pair of 2016 (like tomshardware, PC magazine) if you weren't going to spend several hundred for the Astro A40/50s.

Amazon link

$100 off is crazy good, I'm gonna try to get mine price matched. The only possible issue is that I'm not sure if the 7.1 sound works on consoles, but they do have DTS. And a much stronger/punchier sound than the Sony Golds.

The HX66 are probably cheaper but that's not a good thing also what country you from so I can look for links where you can order from.

is the keyboard what keeps me thinking for some reason o:

I use the Razor Ripsaw. I hook it up to my computer then stream via StreamLabs OBS. This way you can get the overlays and other good features that streaming software provides. One note is that I do use this for an Xbox instead of PS4.

Headset wise, I use Logitch G633 super comfortable and nice mic. I have had zero problems with it. After a few tweeks in StreamLabs OBS it sounds really good for stream and others.

Camera - Logitech 1080p Most of the streamers I have asked use this camera. It is good and auto focuses well. I also have a green screen and use it to take out all of the background.

Let me know if you have any further questions!

u/normaldude8825 · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

I use the Logitech Artemis Spectrum G633. It allows removable cable and duo audio between 1 3.5mm source and 1 USB computer.

My set up works because I play close to the dock(use a 20" TV as monitor for my desktop), or handheld near my computer most of the time. I then use the 3.5mm directly on the Switch and the USB on my desktop with Discord. Both share 1 master volume, but the 3.5 mm has an additional separate volume control and depending on the device, the device's own volume control.

u/Shadow_Tear88 · 1 pointr/Vive

Came here to recommend these myself, although I use and prefer the wired version, the g633. These are very high quality, support both DTS and Dolby surround sound. Can go up to studio quality audio in windows audio settings (although surround sound requires you be at DVD quality or below). They have nice RGB lights that aren't front facing so they won't affect your experience of viewing your screen and they allow you to switch out the micro USB cable you use to connect to your Pc, allowing you to have whatever length cable you want. When in VR I personally use one of the cables that came with the vive controllers to charge them because that are a small length and I don't notice them as much.

I do advise if you're going to use a wired headset with the vive to get a small USB extension cable to connect inside the HMD so you don't have to take the vive panel off if you want to disconnect the headset. I bought a cheap one from Walmart which can extend if needed. I usually set my HMD on top of my desktop when I am not wearing it and this allows me to not have to disconnect the headset when I want to stop using the HMD.

Only possible cons for this headset are that it's hard to know which button on the headset you are touching if you want to set up macros (although I don't personally use them) and they do have a slight tendency to slide off if you wear them and look straight up. While that last part might seem worrisome for VR however, if you just make sure the bar is snug on your head when you start, it's really not noticeable and won't fall off or move at all in VR.

Edit: mistakes were made

u/ConfusedAndDazzed · 1 pointr/PS4

The G633 is supported in that all the buttons respond, the LEDs light up, and you can input it into the PS4 with no problem.

As for the 7.1 functionality, it doesn't look like it's fully supported. Per the Amazon page :

> 7.1 Surround Sound requires Logitech Gaming Software.

I highly doubt you can install this software onto the PS4. Hopefully that helps.

u/Chareu · 1 pointr/buildapc

I'd honestly recommend other keyboards, from Ducky, KUL, Filco, Varmilo, etc. over Logitech. While Logitech does have decent quality, they're overpriced. Judging from your response, you never had a Mechanical Keyboard before. Correct me if I'm wrong. In that case, you should definitely test out different switches before purchasing anything. Everyone has his own preferences.

For the headset you should be good with the Logitech G633 then. That one has decent sound quality, and a decent microphone as well. I personally don't like wireless peripherals at all, so that's why I'd personally decide against the Logitech G933.

Edit: By the way, the G4ME ONE in white is only $209.99. The Logitech G633 is $144.98. You should definitely check out reviews for both of them, and then decide.
