i honestly don't know, however the LS30's are cheaper and look like they're made of metal, then there's this quote on the LS30's amazon ad:

edit: i want to assume the ls35x's will be pretty solid, waiting for them myself as well

They are USB Wireless but can also be connected via Audio Jack and for me the sound quality it's pretty good, I use them when i play Rockband alone to hear the music and not the Strum bar ;P
On sale on Amazon for $90 but only has 3 stars and alot of bad recent reviews. I was checking out the LucidSound LS30, which got great reviews and meets my budget.
