But there are many to choose from. I chose mine because it had a warm compress method gel mask insert that I could warm in hot water instead of a microwave (I donβt have a microwave). I suggest selecting an eye mask that is not too thick if youβre a side sleeper and can double as a warm compress because dry eyes love warm compress. For me, this worked like magic. My eyes are watery on their own without needing any drops, and I was one who had blepharitis and used eye drops for about 10 years.
Also, please keep in mind that diet pays a huge factor. Ive been eating more plant-based foods and drinking leafy greens smoothies more recently, while also upping my vitamins, especially eye-health related vitamins. All of these factors have helped me and they are all natural.
Case in point: Last night I went over to a friendβs house for a celebration who cooked a delicious homemade pasta which had meat and a good amount of parmesan cheese; for dessert I indulged in cake & ice cream. This morning, my eyes were more dry than usual.
When I eat better, my eyes feel better.
I realize dry eyes is just as much (if not more) and internal problem as it is external.
