I did both the Hell Run & RFYL run in Austin. They were incredibly fun! One small word of advice for anyone who wants to run a mud run; WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES.

At the Hell Run, I got mud lodged up underneath some of my fingernails while trying to climb up a mud hill. The mud got so far jammed up one of my nails (halfway up the nail to be exact), my finger got severly infected. It was extremely painful. As a result, I ordered these to protect my fingers during RFYL. As an added bonus, the excellent grip made it much easier & safer to climb the mud hills in RFYL.

These Mad Grips are the gloves I used in my race a couple weeks ago. They worked great, not too water logged in my opinion. However, I did slip off the monkey bars within .01 seconds which pissed me off. Otherwise I thought they were good.
