Yay! I'm so excited that you're getting your own place! That's such a good feeling!

Startup an excel spreadsheet and make a budget for yourself. I find that once I have a budget setup I pay even more attention to my money and figure out new ways to save. I have helped my roommate and my boyfriend setup a budget. :o)

The meat market can save you sooo much money and make you more conscious about the items you are buying and motivate you to cook more.

Crockpots are awesome and help you save time during the week. I know you work from home, but ready-made food throughout the week is awesome!

The Magic Bullet or Nutribullet are both great to have in the home for smoothies! Of course you can blend other items in the cups as well.

I have this Himalayan Salt Lamp and I love it. I also have this Himalayan Salt Candle Holder....actually everything I'm linking you is something that I own and love, something I have experience with, or a similar model (the crock pot was a random model) lol

Oh and this tea because it's delicious.

The Vitamix is a champ, it can do almost anything. My only point was to say if you wanted to save money you can get by with both.

This:

Will literally allow you to go from rough chop to fine chop to dice to puree for food stuffs. I use it a ton to finely chop veggies or puree soups or make hummus. You can do the same with a vitamix but it is more expensive.

When it comes to the nutri bullet i have had Magic bullets before which are ok but end up burning out. For the last 2 years the bigger nutri bullet pro has been able to blend everything I have thrown at it.

I am just saying that the food processor has a little more control over chopping than a blender and the bullet has all the power to smoothly blend even the most frozenest of things. I am happy with my combo which comes in at half the cost of the vitamix and can arguably do more. just wanted to point out the alternatives. With the savings you could buy an anova one:

All three come to about 470 bucks and you can do more with all three than the single vitamix. Not that the vitamix is bad, Im just throwing around an option.

Let us know what you choose and how it turns out!

Cheers!
