I always brush my teeth right before bed because I'm convinced it sends a time to sleep signal to my brain. There's an app that can turn off the back button light on your phone, which was annoying as heck (I have a Samsung.) And there's an app called twilight that turns the backlight wayyyyy down on your phone so even if somebody texts you late it won't fry your eyes & wake you up. In addition to white noise I sometimes play super boring audiobooks. It's like being given permission to sleep in a work training. Good luck!
