I've been pretty happy with this Lanparte V-Mount adapter and these MaxOak V-Mount batteries.

What's the difference between dtap and ptap? I have several of these batteries.
I need something like this, right?
The idea is to use the battery weight at the bottom rather than have it at the top and have to put even more weight on the bottom.

Sadly, V-mount batteries are pretty heavy. [This one] (https://www.amazon.com/V-Mount-Li-Ion-Battery-generic-Scarlet/dp/B0062W80RK/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ll1&tag=battleforthew-20) is 2.98 lbs, while [this one] (https://www.amazon.com/MAXOAK-12000mAh-Battery-Camera-Camcorder/dp/B00RN76282/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ll1&tag=battleforthew-20) is 2.4.

12000mAh it's about 3x a normal battery. The problem is: You need a converter from V-Bat to your laptopcharger. But it shouldn't be a great issue, i assume it is not hard to adap V-Bat to any kind of connector. You already can found a lot of it:
