Being a paintball/airsoft player, I have most of the gear that work on piecing something like this together. I too had the issue you are facing when it came to the accessories that separate this cosplay from standard military based cosplay.

  • For the comm unit you can try any of these 3D files (I know nothing about 3D printing, so hope this works for you). Option 1, Option 2, Option 3

  • For the watch: Option 1, Option 2. Not sure about adding LEDs to these though. OR if you have a smart watch with a large face, you can download a Division app or wallpaper that could give you the same effect.

  • As for backpacks you should look at Maxpedition backpacks but they are expensive but can be used for every day use. Otherwise, there's a knock-off or imitation company Yukon Tactical that are slightly less expensive but mimic the Maxpedition ones.

  • Med kit - you can use something like this and add a velcro medical cross to the front of it.

  • The Dark Zone loot pack - you can probably follow any one of these links to see if there is a DIY for this. I made mine with yellow craft foam rolled around a coffee can, some straps, and hot glue. Simple enough.

  • sleeping bag? I don't recall one being in the game, not sure i've ever encountered carrying one around also.

Depending upon your bag setup you could use a pouch that will Velcro into the inside (I have this one inside of a larger bag, so it stays in place itself, and then the individual items are also secured within): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005257ZDS/

If you have more vertical pouches inside of the bag (which I used to have in a laptop bag I found this one useful for cords, styli, etc.: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003OXJL5K/

The Rei sack is just what the rei pack towel comes in.

The random pouch is a Maxpedition Fatty pocket organizer (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005257ZDS). Maxpedition makes several different sizes, the fire kit one is the mini pocket one.

I recently received $400 in Amazon gift cards from my Chase Freedom rewards card. These are some of the practical items I've bought for myself:

Fenix E21 Flashlight (2xAA, 150/48 Lumens) - $32.45

Victorinox Swiss Army Champion Plus Pocket Knife - $29.99

Spyderco Resilience Black G-10 PlainEdge Knife - $39.14

Those 3 items add up to $101.58 but if you buy a flashlight you'll also need to buy batteries. I also bought a Fenix TK35 High Performance 820 Lumen Flashlight after being impressed by the Fenix E21.

Besides those items I bought a 1000mA car charger for my phone to replace a cheap 500mA charger, two 4GB SD (not SDHC) cards for use in my '07 Audi, a 5x7 Maxpedition Fatty Pocket Organizer, and a Philips Sonicare HX9332/05 DiamondClean Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush

I carry six pens, a pack of gum, a phone charger, headphones and a small journal every day in a Maxpedition Fatty Pocket Organizer. https://www.amazon.com/Maxpedition-Fatty-Pocket-Organizer-Black/dp/B005257ZDS/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1480810248&sr=8-6&keywords=maxpedition+micro

There are tons of videos on YouTube showcasing size and items most people like to put in them. This would be worth looking into. Some other reputable brands I have seen are Vanquest and Condor. Personally, I use the EDC organizer from Maxpedition in my 5.11 Rush 12 backpack. I highly recommend it.

The Maxpedition FR1, Maxpedition Fatty Pocket Organizer, Maxpedition EDC pocket organizer. All of these organizers are really good quality, and will last you a very long time, also they look cool.

I replied earlier, not sure why it's not showing up. That's the Maxpedition Fatty bag, which is perfect for vape gear. You can find it on Amazon $23 shipped!

It's almost like it was made for vaping, as everything I ever want to take with fits in there.

With regards to downvotes, it's probably coming from people new to the vaping hobby who don't know any better. shrug
