Another option besides heating pads is heat-reflecting pads. I got one for a senior cat a few years ago and she loved it. No cords, no fire danger!

I got this for my cat and she loves it. It isnt electrical in any way, just reflects back heat. If you set your hand on it for a few minutes you can feel it get really warm. Her cat tree is right next to the glass patio door and this made her use it a lot more
