He needs a 4 pole headphone splitter if we want to hear the other person talking through their headset. Like this https://www.amazon.com/MillSO-Headset-Splitter-3-5mm-Adapter/dp/B07569QKQQ?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_7

Stick to discord assuming you only want to be talking with your friends, but if you want the actual audio from Switch mic n game then you need a headphone input splitter -

I believe it's definitely possible if you include some external recording and post processing. As extremely limiting as it can be, Audacity is a free DAW that can do some of the extra work outside of the unit.

Even picking up a TRRS splitter (ala https://www.amazon.com/MillSO-Headset-Splitter-TRRS-Headphones/dp/B07569QKQQ/ for example) so you can use your phone to record, and then layer it back onto new audio generated by the PO-20 at a slightly different tempo/effect can help greatly expand the possibilities.

In terms of just within the PO-20 itself, I've not pushed it as far as I could myself, so I cannot say for certain if you can get there with just the PO, but I feel like you can get pretty far with the unit on it's own, and with some cheap/free addon's go even father.

Are you looking for a headphone splitter? There's two variants: one for headsets with dual cables and a quad-pole case/motherboard, and one for headsets with a single, quad-pole cable for cases/mobos with two ports.
