Hi, Krista,
Have I ever told you how much I admire you? Please consider yourself told. You have the stamina of a true warrior.
I've got a couple of books out:
Miserere: An Autumn Tale, which is a more traditional portal fantasy with angels and demons and set in a world between heaven and hell. That book didn't do very well, so I was forced to kill the series.
My new series is the Los Nefilim series, which is a historical fantasy with with a powerful LGBTQ protagonist. It started with three novellas (In Midnight's Silence, Without Light or Guide, and The Second Death), which are collected in the Los Nefilim omnibus.
The first novel in the series was just published yesterday: Where Oblivion Lives, and RockStarLit Asylum gave it an awesome review yesterday.
The next book in the series, Carved from Stone and Dream, will be published next year. I'm hoping that with a three book deal this series has a chance at survival.
Miserere would probably fit. The blurb completely neglects that it's portal fantasy.
Miserere might work. It's portal fiction about an additional plane between earth and heaven and hell. It's also very cheap as an ebook.
