The video explains things well but I think the (regular Motion Pro tool)[http://amzn.com/B000GTXNI6] works fine. I have been using it since around 2000 and it has de-riveted all sizes of chains (520, 525, 530) with no issues. I had a separate tool for pressing and riveting the new chain. It looks like the newer Motion Pro comes with press and riveting bits.
If you have a friend with a grinding wheel (or 'rent' one from Advance auto) then taking the old chain off is nothing.
