If I really need the heat, I use a gas camping stove with an LPG cannister. Much more powerful that my kitchen's stove with natural gas. It's not ideal but it's a start, and it was cheap.

Buy a little camping stove that takes butane canisters. I take mine everywhere in a rucksack with a little frying pan. Can fry anything anywhere
