No - not an archaeologist. I'm just an Apex Nerd with an intense love for history and science. I'm actually in school at the moment for nursing.

If I may - I highly recommend a book that forever changed my view on history. It's called "Mummies, Cannibals and Vampires: the History of Corpse Medicine". Here's the link (I'm the one person who reviewed it.) http://www.amazon.com/Mummies-Cannibals-Vampires-Renaissance-Victorians/dp/0415674174/ref=cm_cr-mr-title

This will lend some insight as to the health, medicinal practices and cleanliness of the people of the past.

Happy (and safe) driving!
