Good quality leather or 16oz duck canvas in an earth tone with no silly logos? Yeah, not that easy. I'd personally just order from Amazon or something and use johnnyair or myshoppingbox to have it brought over. Hypebeast is also ok, shipping is quick and isn't super expensive but import taxes fucking suck.
As for other stores, Filson is highly recommended, as are Far Horizon Traders (though the camel leather tends to be stinky for a while, apparently). They're not too expensive. Slightly cheaper would be Navali, and they're on Amazon.

My Navali Mainstay Messenger Bag (https://www.amazon.com/Navali-Leather-Mainstay-Computer-Messenger/dp/B00ANS7WQO) ripped recently and am in the market for a new messenger bag. I really liked the Navali, but it seems they no longer sell on Amazon and have doubled their price since I bought it. I'm looking for a bag that has a laptop sleeve, preferably a shoulder pad, and is genuine leather for <$150. Does anyone have any suggestions?

On Amazon the leather Mainstay is only $109.
I actually ordered the blue canvas Mainstay a while back and they sent me the blue Boatswain instead. I think they both look great, so I kept the Boatswain. Really nice bag.
Edit: Interestingly all of the bags are now cheaper on Navali's own site, except for the leather Mainstay. Only $50 for the canvas Mainstay.
I was curious about the Navali Leather Mainstay too. Just accepted a new job and wanted to class up my act a little without breaking the bank.
I have no personal experience with them (hopefully soon), and I didn't find much out there on MFA. No reviews on Navali's site, but here are some from Amazon.

Has anyone compared Navali Leather Mainstay to the Canvas Boatswain?
Do you think the leather is good enough to be worth the extra ~50 bucks compared to the waxed canvas of the boatswain?
Or should I go for this Samsonite instead of the other 2?
