If your not techie... there is the PS2 ports which aren't bad. AES and NeoSD Pro are second but your gonna spend at least a grand getting setup plus the conversion of ROM to the NeoSD might be a pain (I'm still waiting to get one so I can't comment 100%). There is RetroPi but you said you didn't have luck with Emulation. MiSTer is awesome but again a pain to setup and hunt down all the roms.
