Realism isn't important to me, I just want something that works for me and my friends when we go to our local field.
Ideally, I would be able to unplug my P* and plug the hose into the launcher and launch form that. So would the regulator on my tank be enough? I would prefer the valve to be mechanical, I'm looking for something that I can more or less slap together with minimal work. $20 for a foam ring seems excessive.... I guess you're not paying for tax and shipping but still, i would expect to see the ring by itself in the store for about $10 (+tax)

edit thats limited quantities but if you buy 4 you can get them for $10 a piece ... also why are they charging $15 more for earlier shipping? that seems sketchy too.
