I have this Neutrogena SPF 70 that looks like a stick of deodorant. I got it on Amazon. Definitely recommend! It's so easy to swipe up and down your forearms before you head out the door!

have you tried using sunscreen sticks? Same design as a stick of deodorant and you don't get any mess on your hands and it feels less greasy than using cream imo.

I bought this and I love it, so you can always have safe drinking water.

Again; then your conditioner doesn't count against your liquids. The off spray (high deet) I bought yesterday was 125 baht. So super cheap. I also brought these and they've helped a lot.

Good luck. Seriously don't really worry about clothes. They're so much cute and cheap stuff here that you'll want to buy. I'm on day 36 of a 6 month trip and I hardly packed a full weeks worth of clothes, I've bought elephant pants and some sun dresses and tanks. Bring clothes you're going to wear out and then just toss by the end of your trip. Also if you get your clothes laundered almost everything will shrink. So seriously. Bring crap clothes.

Also. Something I always do before a long trip which is super tough for me is, pack your bag like three or four days before you're going to leave. And then carry your bag around for like thirty minutes. Is it too heavy?!? Is there stuff that you might not need? Seriously the humidity is so awful you're going to want the lightest pack you can manage.

This bag is a god send. I used it as my carry on bag, for my essentials for the flight and then it folds up super small! So when I want to go out for the day and want to bring a few things I shove it all in that. Also. I love my money belt. I use it here all the time. I actually have the "spy belt" brand and so when I go out at night I have some cash and a place to stash my iPhone and I'm still hands free. I use the deodorant stick looking Neutrogena one. They make a kid version, but i just use the regular one for me and the kids.

It's not a perfect solution, but it's the easiest and quickest solution I've found and it doesn't bother my makeup very much at all.

I don't normally wear face makeup, just moisturizer and Blue Lizard suncreen. It's a bitch to rub in though (super white and leaves a white cast which is okay on my pale skin) so I'd prefer not having to reapply it or carry it with me. Would something like this Neutrogena Sunscreen Stick work for on-the-go reapplication?

I've heard of people wearing sunscreen on their hands while their nails are curing! Might be a good idea from here on out. Wearing sunscreen any time you're exposed to UV is the best form of anti-aging protection around!

I've tried to embrace the "solid" products as much as I can.

You can make (or buy) toothpaste dots.

I've done solid shampoo and conditioner. I don't like it for trips where I need to look good, but for beach/adventure trips where I'm getting the "beach hair" look anyway I'll do solids.

Might want to look into a solid moisturizing bar.

I also swear by solid sunscreen, and I usually turn into a lobster, so I can promise it works. Either this kind or this kind.

I've left mascara and lipsticks loose in my bags and haven't had problems. I also second the recommendation to get TSA Pre-check for a little extra.

Have you ever tried sunscreen in stick form? I feel like if you haven’t already, this might make applying sunscreen much easier for you to do out in public, since you don’t have end up with white goop that you have to rub in, and you can apply it liberally without getting it all over your hands. It goes on colorless and you can apply it extremely quickly without making a mess or having to wash your hands after.

Once I discovered this stuff, it’s the only sunscreen I use.
