The problem is in outputting enough juice, mounting the battery, and it's really not that much cheaper. Not to mention the incredibly slow time to recharge the bank once it's exhausted. Many charge over USB C or 1 amp/12v barrel connectors and can take 12 hours or more.
Consider that a battery bank for laptops and phones has to have a charge controller, and several bucky converters for each voltage output, in addition to the lithium cells, but a V mount battery is just the battery, so it's cheaper to produce.
A decent vmount battery is in the $120 range, and comparable watt hour recharge batteries for laptops and cellphones can easily cost more, have lower power storage, reliability issues from cheap builds, and no plates to mount them with.
