I'm wearing a pair of lightweight trail running shoes. They can get wet, are comfortable, and have enough support to not have your feet killing you after standing in them for 12 hours.
They are pretty pricey though.

My gym has that same policy with toe shoes, but I think I was able to fool them with this nifty purchase. New Balance, Minimus Zero Trail I fucking love these shoes, and I feel almost compelled to buy a another pair even thought these are still pretty new, just because they might be discontinued at any moment. They are lighter than some toe shoes I've tried, and they have a sturdier sole. I've lifted with chucks before, and Honestly I rather use these, I just feel better with them, and they look pretty sick IMO. Here's more of them.
