Think about rolling your own -->smoke real tobacco. 4,800 industry cig chems will be out of your system in a week. Perks. Save $. Less time standing in line. ps I'm not trying to sell anything.
Machines that produce only one cigarette at a time are not considered "automatic".
As soon as you attach some means of having the machine (rather than a person) attach a second, third, fourth, or Nth tube... then it is considered "automatic" (even if it is not powered by a motor) and is determined to be "manufacturing".
So, AFAIK, these things and these things are even these "electric" ones are all considered "A-OK" because they can only "fill" one tube at a time, and a human has to "insert/attach" a new tube for each cigarette made.
It's really NOT that big of a deal -- once you get used to the process, you can easily make a day's worth of cigs (say a single pack worth or 20 cigs) in about two to three minutes -- probably about the same amount of time most people spend everyday prepping a pot of coffee from their home coffee maker (and certainly less total time than people spend if the coffee maker isn't setup on a time, and you include waiting/brewing time).

Have you looked at rolling your own? I was smoking a pack a day at about $6 a pack so around $180. I bought a cigarette stuffer, tubes (these were the best I found personally), and tobacco and got that down to $1 a pack $30 a month. It can be more expensive if you go with really expensive tobacco but I just went with gamblers or something like that and it tasted fine to me.
It would probably be much cheaper to get this.
