This is the blender I use, it is strong enough to crush ice fresh out of the icemaker. It is very easy to clean to!
Def Magic Bullet. It's cheap and it's doesn't have the beefiest motor but it's compact and it just works. NINJA makes a similarly sized smoothie style blender also that my friend has had good luck with. Can't vouch for the longevity of that but my other Ninja blender is legit for the price. I've had my Magic Bullet for so many years and it keeps trucking and I blend frozen fruit almost daily so I'd go that route.
