then this is the unit you need. it's affordable and well-designed. i could not find a single other record stand that had room for a receiver which was astonishing to me. only downsides are that it is frequently out of stock, and somewhat complicated to assemble. also, they don't have holes in the back panel for cords so i had to cut one myself.

Thanks! It’s a rather cheap cabinet from the ‘70s. I’ll have to reinforce it a bit if I use it regularly.

Here’s a nice alternative. There are other styles and sizes available too.

Hey guys! Sadly I have the smallest room in my apartment, and it’s pretty cramped in here. I’m a musician, so I’m trying to fit a somewhat functional set up in here which really only requires my amp and studio monitors. I also love listening to music so I’m trying to get a stand for my turn table and records like this one:

Luckily the other things I keep in here, like other music gear and my surf boards, are stored elsewhere in the apartment.

I’ve included a picture of my room as well as a screenshot of a layout I made so you can see dimensions, and here are the dimensions of my furniture:

Bed - 54” x 75”
Desk - 59” x 29 1/2”
Drawers (under desk) - 14” x 22 3/4”
Chair ~ 27” x 27”
Amp ~ 21” x 10”

And the closet that sticks out of the wall the door is on is 14 1/2” deep and 63 1/2” long.

My color scheme is really monochrome and I would like to keep it that way, but maybe add an accent color to the sheets or maybe a rug to make it all pop more.

Also, I know the desk is massive, it’s the largest size ikea linnmon and I would be willing to downsize since there’s a bit of unused space. Also my bed needs to stay against the wall it’s currently on, as it would be blocking the floorboard heaters otherwise, but I might be able to turn it the other way.
