Just because I own and am proud of my identity as a Chicano doesn't mean that I have to be okay with being fetishized for it. I would rather have a guy who likes my identity and not likes me for my identity. There's a difference.
Edit- typo
Occupied America
, the book specifically says "kill the gringo".edit: (pg. 323) it was a quote. It says things like capitalism should be destroyed, etc.
It constantly talks about the evils of the "gringo" or the "gringo establishment", etc.

Also, another book is "Chicano Manual on How to Handle Gringos" by Jose Angel Gutierrez, a guy that said that chicanos should kill all the gringos.
"We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him"
