By Jacques Cousteau's grandson Fabian, I remember going through it for hours. It's not a kids book though (see first review), so I'd only get it if he's an advanced reader and super passionate.

As an adult the number one thing that gives me nightmares... the ocean.

I bought this book because it seemed interesting... it's not, it's 3001 reasons not to go swimming in the ocean and 2000 creepy creatures you didn't know existed!

(Also, great informative book, just no-no before bed time)
