Absolutely I would combine Bimuno with Vivomixx (VSL#3). I haven't yet researched which strains of bacteria feed on the Bimuno. Another prebiotic that I am already taking is inulin, specifically 25 grams of inulin from Jerusalem Artichoke. The inulin disproportionately feeds bifido- strains, if I recall correctly. It could easily be the case that inulin and bimuno are not too different, in which case the bimuno also feeds the bifido- strains disproportionately.

I am actually looking for a prebiotic that increases fecal butyrate levels, because the inulin does not. I would like more butyrate. It's research I have yet to do.

The inulin and monk fruit I got were on Amazon. The high end monk fruit only takes a pinch, but it is super expensive. I've had it for 6 months and haven't used more than half a tablespoon in total. I also use erythatol, monk fruit, stevia blend that is less expensive. If you want to give this method a try, just be aware that inulin can cause gastro upset, especially if you start in full doses. Even though the scoby should use the inulin up as food, better to be safe than sorry and test it out as part of your diet first. I started with 1/4 of the dose in my morning coffee and gradually increased it to the full dose. I had no ill effects with it doing it gradually like that. Also, I'm not sure how this will effect the end result on the Kombucha, as in how much inulin will still be present in the end product. I will let you know how it turns out. Here are the three links to what I use.
