I'm 22, and I used the same mechanical pencil junior and senior year of high school, and then 3.5 years of college. I lost it last semester.

One time, it actually fell out of my pocket on the bus on the way to campus in the morning. I was pretty upset. That night getting on the bus to go home, I went to my usual seat and there still sitting in my seat was my pencil. I had it for 2 more semesters after that.

This was the pencil, I went on just now so I could go ahead and order some but...they are unavailable right now :(
