Donny Gluckstein- a people's history of the second world war covers virtually every country in Europe and is a fantastic introduction to the forgotten side of Allied actions in ww2. I'd recommend this one the most.Edit- got the book and there is a chapter each on Yugoslavia, Greece, Poland, Latvia, France, UK, US, Germany, Austria, Italy, India, Indonesia and Vietnam.
