Please get legal representation if you have recently taken a drug test and have smoked pot within the last 100 days prior to the drug test. I am not a lawyer but I am a pharmacy professor and I do know a bit about pharmacy law. I have also fired some technicians over the years who have tested positive so I know for a fact that your outcome will be totally different if you have legal representation in place BEFORE your drug test results come back. For example, when your pharmacy director calls you in to his/her office a couple days after the drug test and your lawyer is with you, your lawyer will probably negotiate on your behalf to get them not to fire you but allow you to quit. Your lawyer may also negotiate for you to get a positive letter of recommendation from your pharmacy manager in exchange for you signing a statement promising not to sue them for various common pharmacy legal infractions. Your lawyer may also negotiate for your pharmacy manager to not report you to your state board of pharmacy in exchange for your checking in to a confidential rehab center. The confidentiality of the rehab center is most important because if it is confidential, then it will not show up in a background check later when you try to buy a gun or apply for another job. Bottom line. Don't be cheap. Get legal representation. Edit: better yet, don't do drugs.

If you smoked pot once, it will remain detectable in your urine for 7 to 10 days. If you used pot heavily and regularly, it will remain detectable in your urine for up to 100 days! Most drugs have a half life of 6 to 12 hours. This means that every 6 to 12 hours, half the drugs are metabolised and excreted from your body. However, marijuana has a half life of FIVE (5) DAYS! So, don't smoke pot if you value your job as almost all companies will do a drug test if you get injured on the job. This is because your employer's insurance requires this so that they could legally avoid paying workman's compensation as the insurance company could make the case that the accident was your fault due to your being chemically impaired.
