The sheet seemed to have a fiber weave when I cut it. The length of the fibers and percentage of fibrous materials could certainly be different. I got it from Amazon. When I googled the name of the product I got data sheets that described it as paper based, so perhaps the internal structure is simply paper fibers instead of fiberglass?

Would you suggest the garolite from McMaster-Carr such as this?

As you know, it's as much art as it is science. I was running with a ghetto enclosure and a microswiss hotend at ~400 degrees, I think. Phenolic paper is the ideal bed material https://www.amazon.com/Phenolic-Paper-Grade-Natural-Length/dp/B008OYKVCQ The sheet doesn't need to be changed between prints, just cleaned.

Made 5 that way before I when whole hog and bought a GG2.
