The colors do change!! Unfortunately the sun is only on that side of the house for a short time, so I don't get to really see it.

There's actually faux stained glass window paint, my grandma discovered it over a decade ago and I ordered some recently for a secret santa gift exchange. This is what I used. The tiny paint cups were plenty for the SS gift but barely enough for this, so if I do another window I will definitely buy full sized bottles for the job! The nice part about the faux stuff is 1) anyone can do it 2) it requires virtually no skill, and you can easily correct mistakes as you work, and 3) it all peels right off when you're ready to be done with it. This house is a rental, so Mary will be with us for another 1.5 years until we ship back home!

Thanks! Definitely helps.

#4 I havnt gotten the glass to crack from heat, but im sure at some point. For sure tons of foil unraveling though. And ya, you guessed right. By too thin I mean the copper foil not spread out on both sides.

#5 Paint Type, but I just kind of picked whatever was at the store that said for glass. Definitely let me know how the acrylics work out!
