Worth noting that these all seem to be exclusives and similarly priced. Also worth noting that the likely reason behind this is that retailers are reporting that Pokemon Sun / Moon are essentially selling like hot cakes ;).

Sad part is, I want them all LOL

The steelbook dual pack has both games -- on physical carts -- in a limited edition tin case. The outside has Solgaleo on one side, and Lunala on the other, with a map of Alola on the inside.

I also preordered the pokemon games, probably always will until they stop deserving my trust. there are not a lot of companies o series that earn that trust thou.

There can be benefits of preordering some times, for example my amazon preorder was for a limited now out of stock item also if the item ever gets a price drop while it's on preorder you get the lowest price available. I've gotten a few games up to 20usd cheaper that way (it may have been a price error but hey).

But I only do it with a few games. I'm not much of a hype guy, I don't even look at trailers, I just wait for the game to come out and see what people think of them.

While browsing I found this listing, apparently it is the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon: Official Collector's Edition Guide (Which is 30$ in a separate listing) and includes other stuff. Apparently there are limited quantities and once it's sold out that is it. Thoughts on this, as well as pricing? RIP your wallet if you plan on getting this, in addition to the Sun/Moon Steelcase Book and the Sun/Moon N3DS XL.

Amazon had an exclusive steelbook pre-order. It came win Sun and Moon and a steelbook case here

I pre-ordered the Pokemon Sun/Moon Steelbook back in August.

I have the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon Steelbook Dual Pack new in box for the 3ds.

This one: If you have Prime when you order and on November 18 when it comes out, you get Sun, Moon, and a steel container for $71.99. I don't care about the container personally, but I'm getting both games for less than the combined retail cost of both individually.
