That's...not true at all. They sell at MSRP normally, which means a 20-25% discount puts them at Amazon prices. Anything better than that and they're beating Amazon and other OLGS (and certainly FLGS).
For example, Tokyo Highway is $25 at B&N right now, and $41 at Amazon. And Potion Explosion is, as mentioned in a comment, $12.48 (if you can find it still) in B&N stores, and $40 on Amazon.
I've been wondering if this game could be used as a mechanic. Haven't actually played it though.
