It's 88 cents over the limit, but I thought I'd link it anyways: GRE Prep Flashcards! I'm applying to vet school in the fall, and I'll need all the help I can get on the GRE.

But if you're a stickler on the $15 rule (and you probably should be, shame on me for being greedy), I think these pencils would really help me get back into drawing. Think of all the critters I should be sketching right now!

I wanna tell you that I really like this contest. All of us are crazy about gifting each other, but we gotta remember to TREAT YOSELF and take care of ourselves and our futures, too!

ROI!

Mario Collectible 12 piece figure set
NES Keychain
Blue sketch pencils - I read your intro and saw you liked to draw? I use these to get a good sketch before using darker lead or pen since my sketches are soooo messy. Art supplies are always nice!

Just buy a set of drawing pencils that includes all the H and B pencils. They are fairly cheap. HB is inbetween. The Hs are lighter in shade and Bs are darker. Higher the number darker the shade. 6B is the darkest I believe.

Are you in America or somewhere else with amazon? If you are and you have access to amazon you could probably get these: Pro Art 18-Piece Sketch/Draw Pencil Set https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000HTBBO8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_a39nzb4TRRJZK they seem to work well by the reviews and are quite cheap
Edit: amazon is not just in America

  • Science: You are here - it's just a fun poster, but actually really interesting the more you look at it. It seems silly, but you really get a sense of how big our galaxy is.

  • Gardens: Herb Savor - This thing is pretty awesome and helps keep herbs and such fresh.

  • Writing: Who doesn't want to learn Calligraphy

  • Film/Movies: I absolutely love Mel Brooks - I really really want it!

  • Fantasy: Leaf Clasp

  • Books/Authors: The Border Trilogy by Cormac McCarthy - These books are beautifully written. The most poetical version of prose I've ever read. Anything Richard Matheson - I had to put this as well because Richard Matheson is one of my favorite authors. He wrote many short stories (many became twilight zone episodes) and his novels are amazing. He wrote I Am Legend, which I would 100% recommend. However, the link is to one of his short story collections because they are just too amazing to pass up.
  • Nature/outdoors: Picnic Wine holder - There's nothing better than a nice glass of wine and these things are awesome.

  • Spirituality: Bamboo wind chime - I don't know why, but I have always felt there was something spiritual about wind chimes; especially wooden ones; and especially bamboo ones.

  • Art supplies - Sketching kit - I don't know much about art supplies, but this looks like a nice set.

  • Math - Pi Ice Cubes - They're just too cute and also math related

  • Travel: Universal Surge Protector - I wasn't sure if you travel a lot internationally, but if you do, get this.

  • Food - Citrus ginger dressing - This stuff is to die for!

  • Fun stuff: Lightsaber chopsticks - These are so fun to use. I'm taking a shot in the dark about whether you like sushi or star wars, but if I'm right, you'll want these.

  • Something not on this list, but that you absolutely have to link to or you'll explode: Dino Sandwich cutter - Do I even need to explain?

  • art supplies: You should add one of these to go with these. This drawing pad to go with this set. This watercolor set is amazing. And these for some pen and ink.
  • Gardening: I feel like these are a must have in anyones garden and for whatever reason (probably because I'm a 5 year old at heart) this makes me feel like a badass but also keeps me from leaving my shears somewhere and having to carry all my tools at once. I think this is awesome for germinating.
  • Books: I just read this book and I highly recommend it and I also want to read this one which I was told was amazing. If you have a kindle you should add this or this since you like Doctor Who (theyre basically the reason I want to get a kindle).
  • Doctor who: This is awesome. Id love to have these in my kitchen and this in my bedroom. Maybe just this and this for fun.

Hope you like them and if I win I'd like this or for the raffle this because I really really want it

I have two names for dogs I really like. One being Spock. Because when you say it it sounds enough like Spot, which is really the most cliche name for a dog ever. But really its Spock.

I also had a dog name Ada, because my ex and I were both programmers. I still love that name and am rather proud of it, even if I haven't seen my pup in like a year.

I'd probably want these pencils because I'd really love to start drawing again, but over the years my art supplies slowly have gotten lost.

I did some small doodles for a previous contest and realized that I would really like to learn to draw properly. I have a small child at home, so I am all set on scratch paper, but I would love to have some actual drawing pencils to work with. I am using my mechanical pencils (which I adore!), but the lead is so soft it's hard to create easy to erase lines. The ability to fine tune is super important for learning.

My long term goal is to be able to do something as fun and amazing as this artist I found on tumblr. I love her sketches they just make me smile. In the short term, I want to use this advice, to learn how to properly capture animals. I figure you need to be able to draw all the details, before you can start minimalising for maximum cuteness. Also, I think it just may be one of the most entertaining online tutorials I have ever come across. Shrimp!

I want to learn!
