Just as an FYI, I bought three of the QIENGO/QIFIT sport loop bands that have been on Amazon for a while. The black/pinkish weave (their wording) did indeed have the gap, but the Seashell and the Black/Red I bought did not. Seems like it's pretty much a crap shoot. They're all very comfortable, tho!

I have bought two from the one above and both were okay, though the width of the band was a bit narrower.
I also bought two from the first link I had and had to send one back as the stitching was not lined up. $13 a pop, and relatively easy returns vs $50 for Apple's.
I got this and love it. Inwaited for a us seller to show up on amazon. Glad I did. Came in 2 days.
