I use one of these if I need an external memory unit for the HTC One. Plug this into the micro USB slot on the phone and connect a USB to the end of it and bam, I have a removable memory.
I got this one and it worked fine on previous devices even when other cables of that type didn't. I ordered a powered adapter today to see if that works, I'll let you know.
